Greetings,

My name is James Baker. I transitioned (retired) from the US Navy in 2017 after 30 years of active duty.  I served as an enlisted technician for 16 years and as a Limited Duty Officer for 14.  I am now a DOD contractor working for a small company based out of Patuxent River, MD.  I live on seven acres in a small Virginia town 70 miles south of DC where my wife of 32 years and I built our forever home.  We spend most of our free time with our two dogs, raising chickens, and working on our property.  We have two grown children that are making their way in the big world, my son in California work as a manager at best Buy and my recently engaged daughter in North Dakota who works for a large beauty supply chain.  I enjoy college football, working on my ’70 mach1, hunting, and a good IPA or Bourbon.  I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in technology management and decided to tackle a Master’s in Business to add to my resume.
